STUDENT TUTORING TRAINEE

Provides assistance in the learning process. May be required to:

• Observe the teaching of specific academic subjects to individuals or small groups
• Assist in monitoring the academic progress of students
• Participate in a training program for developing teaching techniques and learning skills
• Attend additional training sessions and staff meetings
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed

Requirements:

• May require faculty recommendation
• Demonstrated success in the course to be tutored
• Customer service and communication skills
