STUDENT EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

Provides semi-skilled maintenance assistance. May be required to:

  • Perform semi-skilled tasks to assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various machinery (e.g., replacing parts on printing equipment)
  • Perform semi-skilled tasks to assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automotive equipment/engines
  • Perform unskilled maintenance or custodial/ housekeeping tasks (e.g., passing tools, setting up work area, vacuuming)
  • Fill out paperwork
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as directed

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of tool use and equipment maintenance/repair
  • May need to perform physical duties such as lifting
