STUDENT STOREROOM/WAREHOUSE TRAINEE

Assists faculty and staff in a storeroom and/or warehouse. May be required to:

• Receive shipments and provide proper storage of materials
• Catalogue and tag inventory
• Issue equipment & supplies and record their disbursement
• Fill orders and pack materials
• Prepare paper or electronic forms for transfer of equipment and supplies
• Move stock
• Make deliveries
• Drive automatic or standard shift vehicle
• Record appropriate signatures and identification
• Check in equipment and ensure its operability
• Take periodic physical inventory
• Perform routine cleaning and laundry duties
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed

Requirements:

• Ability to operate a computer, phone, two-way radio, etc.
• Basic computer literacy
• May need to perform physical duties such as heavy lifting
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
