STUDENT FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TRAINEE

Provides unskilled maintenance assistance. May be required to:

• Perform simple custodial/ housekeeping tasks (e.g., dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash)
• Perform unskilled tasks such as setting up equipment, passing tools, and cleaning up work area to assist staff in carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, locksmithing, automotive, heating/ventilation, drafting, and electrical work.
• Fill out paperwork
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed

• May need to perform physical duties such as heavy lifting
