STUDENT VIDEO PRODUCTION SPECIALIST
Assists faculty and staff with video equipment for the production of educational video materials. May be required to:
- Set up and operate media equipment including video cameras, microphones, audio mixers, lighting instruments, teleprompters, and digital editing systems
- Design, script, and produce video sessions and instructional materials
- Assist faculty, staff, and students in selecting resource materials
- Prepare media presentations and materials
- Record and supervise video tape sessions
- Edit video/audio materials
- Create graphics
- Update records, files, and catalogues using a computer and related software
- Perform basic administrative duties such as filing, data entry, word processing, etc.
- Assist in training of other student employees
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings
- Perform miscellaneous duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in video production and equipment operation in similar sessions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to operate computer, media, and video equipment
- Computer and video technology literacy
- Customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
