STUDENT RECRUITING SPECIALIST
Aids in the recruitment of individuals for University programs, and serves as a University Representative to campus visitors. Students may be required to:
- Assist with administrative functions relating to recruitment activities and/or visitors services
- Participate in recruiting events as a University representative
- Conduct information sessions, tours, and/or interview sessions to impart information regarding University programs for interested candidates and/or families
- Research and contact media sources to develop recruitment efforts
- Participate in programs geared towards recruitment of selected student groups in order to acquaint them with campus life
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and training activities
- Assist in the training of other student employees
- Perform miscellaneous duties as directed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (public speaking, verbal, written)
- Ability to operate a computer and phone
- Basic computer literacy
- May have to adhere to dress code
