STUDENT VIDEO PRODUCTION SPECIALIST

Assists faculty and staff with video equipment for the production of educational video materials. May be required to:

  • Set up and operate media equipment including video cameras, microphones, audio mixers, lighting instruments, teleprompters, and digital editing systems
  • Design, script, and produce video sessions and instructional materials
  • Assist faculty, staff, and students in selecting resource materials
  • Prepare media presentations and materials
  • Record and supervise video tape sessions
  • Edit video/audio materials
  • Create graphics
  • Update records, files, and catalogues using a computer and related software
  • Perform basic administrative duties such as filing, data entry, word processing, etc.
  • Assist in training of other student employees
  • Participate in training sessions and staff meetings
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in video production and equipment operation in similar sessions
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to operate computer, media, and video equipment
  • Computer and video technology literacy
  • Customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
