STUDENT AUDIO/VISUAL ASSISTANT
Assists faculty and staff with audio-visual equipment. May be required to:
- Set up, operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and report issues regarding media equipment including microphones, VCR’s, DVD’s, monitors, flat screens, and LCD/DLP projectors
- Assist staff in installation, maintenance, and repair of High-Tech Classrooms and AV equipment
- Assist in the design and production of instructional materials utilizing graphics, photography, lettering, layout, and design techniques
- Answer phones for help desk support
- Generate work order requests
- Take inventory and generate reports to maintain inventory
- Deliver media equipment to various campus locations
- Catalogue and file media materials
- Update records using a computer and related software
- Perform basic administrative duties such as filing, data entry, word processing, etc.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings
- Perform miscellaneous duties as directed
Requirements:
- Ability to operate a computer and phone
- Computer and AV technology literacy
- Customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
