STUDENT IT HELP CENTER TRAINEE

Assists in operation of IT Service Center. May be required to:

  • Answer phones and email in a call center and direct those calls/ emails to appropriate parties
  • Assist customers and responding to questions utilizing available reference materials
  • Log calls/emails and summarize IT problems/issues
  • Maintain hardware and software
  • Secure work environment and equipment
  • Perform data entry, record keeping and other administrative tasks
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings
  • Complete miscellaneous duties as directed

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate a computer and phone
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Customer service and communication skills
