Assists faculty and staff with audio-visual equipment. May be required to:

  • Deliver media equipment to various campus locations
  • Set up, operate, inspect, and report issues regarding media equipment including microphones, VCR’s, DVD’s, monitors, flat screens, and LCD/DLP projectors
  • Answer phones for help desk support
  • Generate work order requests
  • Catalogue and file media materials
  • Update records using a computer and related software
  • Perform basic administrative duties such as filing, data entry, word processing, etc.
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as directed


  • Ability to operate a computer and phone
  • Basic computer and AV technology literacy
  • Customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
